Introducing the face of Hyperspaces

I’d like to introduce everyone to the greatest icon to ever grace a screen:

The Hyperspaces Icon

This gorgeous piece of design was put together by Sebastiaan De With of Cocoia.com and IconDesigner.net fame. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I’ve heard nothing but praise for him from my peers. He’s also got a blog post up his sleeve about the process we went through together to end up with what you see above.

Oh, and the promo site for Hyperspaces is up: http://hyperspacesapp.com/

Fyi: the hyperspaces link sends me back to tonyarnold.com. The text is right if copied and pasted, but link needs correction.

In happier news, I eagerly await the chance to play with this beautiful new app.

Tony,

I’m impressed with the fine icon design. Also the Hyperspaces website looks pretty damn good too! Anticipation is growing still ;-) Good luck and God speed with the completion of your public-beta.

Very impressive and the web site looks terrific too… If this is any indication of what Hyperspaces could be made of, it will be a killer app! Can’t wait to try out the beta… Tony, you are killing us in anticipation :)

Btw, I’m still using VirtueDesktops on 10.5.3 and it still rocks!

Hi Tony,

this is an absolute fantastic icon, Sebastiaan did an awesome job on this one.

I can’t wait to get my hands on Hyperspaces. Do you have any clue when we can expect to be part of the beta-testing?

Any idea when we can expect a public beta yet?

Hi Tony,

Looking forward to exploring this latest project of yours. I very much enjoyed VirtueDesktops.

One question I have is whether hyperspaces will free us from the absurd keystroke binding restrictions Apple puts us through! I’ve been using this hack for spaces, using FastScripts to run the standard bindings in a script which runs under a new set of bindings, but the delays are unsatisfactory.

The freedom you provided us with in Virtue made for very efficient use, which seems to be one of the practical purposes of virtual desktop managers
