Microsoft finally gets it: web standards for all

Microsoft’s Interoperability Principles and IE8

This is the best news I’ve heard for a long time. Now we can all enjoy proper standards support, no matter what browser we choose to use. Is this a new era for Microsoft?

So W3C com­pli­ant sites will work for all. I would have to see it in the wild to believe it.

I say they will change their mind at least a cou­ple more times before they release IE8, after all this is Microsoft we’re talk­ing about.
