First, visit Apple’s Java Developer Site - have a read - there’s a new developer preview out for Java SE 6, and it runs on Leopard! But wait (there’s always a ‘but’ where the words ‘Apple’ and ‘Java’ appear together) - it only runs on 64-bit Intel-based macs.
Apple, seriously - WTF? Get your act together, this is already incredibly embarrassing for you…

Oh yes, I can only begin to imagine the embarrassment apple must be experiencing right now. Imagine all those red faces walking around the apple campus, “whoops” they would say, “we forgot about the 32 bit intel macs”. Hows Steve ever going to forgive them?

OK, so ‘embarassing’ might be a little strong, but my pov Core 1 Duo MacBook Pro wants in on the Java 6 love :P
My Quad G5 also wants some Java 6 love! I suppose I’ve got even less chance of that than you have of getting 32-bit intel support :-(
